Nonetheless, as data becomes increasingly digitized and accessible to collect and monitor, voters are now leveraging their own social and political capital through data and numbers.
Now more than ever, communities are lobbying around issues and advocating for laws and policy with human data to show that their issues matter, and that they deserve a seat at the table. This episode will discuss and dissect the factors that come into play with data collection around voter attitudes, motivation, mobilization, and advocacy. How is data being used to empower voters and their communities? How are politicians and elected officials responding to these community-driven efforts?
